What is MapKI?
MapKI is an AI-powered franchise territory intelligence platform. Franchise brands map their territories, brokers find available markets for clients, and buyers discover and claim opportunities — all in one place.
Is MapKI free for franchise brands?
Yes. Franchise brands can list their territories on MapKI at no cost. There are no contracts or listing fees. Advanced features like enhanced brand profiles and priority placement are available on paid plans.
How does the territory map work?
Franchise brands enter their territory availability by city, state, or zip code. MapKI geocodes the data and displays it as an interactive map with color-coded status indicators — green for available, yellow for high-interest, gray for sold.
How does AI matching work?
MapKI's matching engine scores buyer profiles against brand requirements using factors like liquid capital, target market, investment timeline, and territory availability. Buyers see a match score for each brand, and brands receive leads ranked by match quality.
What happens when a buyer claims a territory?
When a buyer expresses interest in a territory, MapKI routes the lead to the franchise brand's development team — enriched with the buyer's profile data, market information, and match score. The brand receives the lead via email and CRM integration.
Can franchise brokers use MapKI?
Yes. MapKI is built for franchise brokers. Brokers can filter brands by investment range, industry, territory availability, and client fit. Real-time territory data means brokers always have accurate availability for client conversations.
How is MapKI different from franchise directories?
Traditional directories show static brand listings. MapKI shows live territory data — which specific markets are available today, which are high-interest, and which are sold. The AI matching layer adds qualification scoring that directories don't offer.
Is my buyer data private?
Yes. Buyer profiles and inquiry data are only shared with franchise brands when a buyer explicitly expresses interest. MapKI does not sell buyer data to third parties.
How do I list my franchise brand on MapKI?
Visit the For Franchisors page and submit your brand information. Onboarding typically takes 24–48 hours. Our team will configure your territory map and brand profile.
